"Nobody Speak" from DJ Shadow's album The Mountain Will Fall. This lyric video features some very outlandish animated lyrics synced to the battle rap aesthetic of the vocals by Killer Mike and EL-P (RTJ).
Collaborative process:
Was a very enjoyable collaboration with Matt. He established the style frames, then I developed the broad strokes of The layouts throughout, with the camera moves moving along from one scene to the next, developing the pace of the camera jumps. Matt then went in and added the sub context and smoothed out the fine details. While Matt was running his fine comb, I established more tertiary animations and animated the choruses. Matt picked the project back up and pushed the additional elements and flossed out the choruses into the verses.
